Embedding your flyers or images so they appear in the body of an email is easy with Wise Agent. Additionally, once embedded, sending them out to your database is a snap!
First, make sure that your image or flyer is saved to your computer, and is in jpg format. If your flyer is in another format, such a PDF, you will first need to convert it to a jpg. You can do this with a photo editing program, such as Photoshop or Publisher. If you don’t have a photo editing program, don’t worry – we’ve got you covered! You can email your image or flyer to help@wiseagent.com and we will gladly convert it for you.
Now that you have your jpg saved in the proper format, the next step is to upload it. Here’s how:
- Mouse over the Marketing button in the top menu bar, and click on “Images”
- Click Browse, find the image, and click Open
- Click Upload, and wait for the “Upload was successful” message
That will save the image/flyer to your “images” Image Folder. Next you’re ready to insert it to your email!
- From the top menu bar, click on Email
- Type your Subject, Salutation, and any text you would like to include in the message
- From the Image Folder drop-down menu, select “images” (the Image Folder menu is located directly under the “Attach File” button)
- Click in the body of your email so that your cursor is flashing where you would like the image to insert
- Click the “Insert/Edit Image” icon in the formatting toolbar above the message field. It looks like a gray mountain with a yellow sky. A new window will open
- Click Browse Server; another new window will open
- Click on the name of your flyer/image (the second extra window will then close automatically)
- Click OK – you should see your image insert into your email
- Lastly, select the clients you want to send to, and you’re all done!
Your emails will really stand out when you include images or flyers, and staying in front of your clients on a regular basis will help make sure that they think of you the next time they are in need of your services.

One of the first things you will want to do when getting started with Wise Agent is import your contact database. We want the transition to be as easy as possible, so we’ve built some tools to help you do this.
Once logged into your account, put your mouse over the Contacts button and click on Import/Export. Look on the left side of the page – is your current program listed there? If so, click the button with the name of your current database program. For example, if your contacts are in Outlook, click that button. The site will then walk you through exporting from that program, step-by-step.
If you have any trouble during the process shown, or if your program is not listed on the Import/Export page, click the Contact Us button (located on the Help menu drop-down). Our 24/7 support team will be happy to assist you.
Lastly, if your contacts are in a CSV or Excel file, just email that file to help@wiseagent.com and we’ll take care of formatting and importing it for you.

There are two ways to set up your team within Wise Agent – as an Inside Team or an Outside Team. INSIDE team members are under your account and share the same username and password as you. All Inside Team Members can be logged into Wise Agent at the same time on different computers and you share everything under your account, client database, calendar, call list, etc. You can still assign certain tasks or appointments to an individual, and you can separate your Client List by utilizing the Category functions.
To add your Inside team members:
1. Click on the “Profile” button
2. Scroll down to where it says “Second Team Member” and fill in their information
3. When you are finished hit the “Save” button.
The second way is by having an OUTSIDE team member. They have a separate Wise Agent account and do not share yours. You can, however, share and send each other things such as clients, appointments, etc. There is a separate charge for each account when utilizing the Outside Team Member set up.
To add an Outside Team Member:
1. Scroll over the Profile button, and click on the Outside Team
2. Click on the “Add Team Member” button
3. Fill in their email address and a message, then hit send
4. You will then await their response to accept you.

Wise Agent makes it easy to market to your database, whether you choose to send emails or print mailings. Printing mailing labels to do a single or mass mailing takes mere seconds!
To create your mailing labels:
- Mouse over the Contacts button, then click on “Client List”
- Select all of the clients you are creating mailing labels for. If it’s a certain category of clients you can select the category name using the “Category” drop down box, and then click the “Go” button.
- Using the “Print Media” drop down box, select Mailing Labels.
- Select your mailing labels options and click “Download PDF File” (Adobe Reader) or “Download Word File” (Microsoft Word)

One of the great marketing tools Wise Agent provides you with is a customizable monthly newsletter. Our two-page newsletter is automatically branded with your photo, logo, and contact information, and filled with current real estate and seasonal information. It has been designed for email or print. It takes mere seconds to send it out as is, or you can change or add to it as much as you would like.
To Print the standard newsletter:
- Mouse over Marketing, and click on Newsletters from the drop-down menu
- Look for the correct month, click the “Open w/ Photo” link to the right
- The newsletter will open in a printable PDF format – that’s it!
To Email the standard newsletter:
- Mouse over Marketing, and click on Newsletters from the drop-down menu
- Look for the correct month, click the “Send w/ Photo” link to the right
- Enter the text you would like to be included with your newsletter, click the “Save and Select Clients” button at the bottom
- Select the clients you would like to send to, and click Send.
- Wait a few moments for the emails to process, and that’s it!
To Customize the newsletter:
- Mouse over Marketing, and click on Newsletters from the drop-down menu
- Find the month that you would like to use. Click the red ‘custom’ link to the right
- Select your designations, hit continue, review your contact information, hit continue.
- The newsletter will open in an editable format. Click ‘Add to My Newsletters’
- Now you’re ready to delete, or add to, any part of the newsletter. Remember to Save Changes frequently.
