Attention iPhone users!

With the new update to iOS 7, Apple has changed from using the CardDav Google Sync back to the original Google Sync. The good news is, if you have yet to set up the sync, the setup is much easier!  Also, with this update, iPhone’s will sync with Google in the same manner that Androids do, cutting back on a lot of confusion.  For those who have already set up Google Sync with CardDav and have upgraded to iOS 7, the switch is an easy process!  You will need to follow the steps below to get your Google Contacts syncing again with your iPhone:

1. On your iPhone, navigate to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars
2. Tap on your CardDav account under the Accounts list
3. Tap Delete Account. Confirm all prompts.
4. From the Mail, Contacts, Calendars page, press “Add Account”
5. Tap Google
6. Input the required information (there is an example in gray text for each field). Tap Next
7. Make sure Contacts is “On”, tap Save, and that’s it!
