Cool Options for a More Custom Real Estate CRM!

Your database is your business, and chances are you will spend a good amount of time in your contact management program.  It’s important that it works the way YOU want it to work, maximizing the effectiveness of a critical part of your daily routine. It’s also just a lot more fun!

That’s why we made it possible to customize your Wise Agent.   To check out some of the different options, mouse over the Profile tab and click on Settings.  Here’s a few examples of some of the features you can now customize:

To have a successful real estate business, you have to keep in touch with your database consistently. With Wise Agent’s email templates, that’s easy to do! We’ve taken the hard parts out of the equation – like coming up with the content and creating images – and provided our members with fully-customizable templates which can be emailed to your database in seconds.
From holidays to just sold announcements, birthdays to anniversaries and more, we have templates for every occasion we could think of. Here’s how to take advantage of this valuable tool, included in your Wise Agent account:

  1. Go to Email Clients
  2. Click “Email Templates”, in the top left corner
  3. A small box will pop up. Select the category, like Holidays for example, and hit the Go button.
  4. Scroll through the list and click on the template you want to use. It will then populate the body of your email.
  5. Select the contacts you want to send to (or select all) and hit Send. That’s it!

You can even take it a step further and use these templates to create a drip campaign for the whole year – then you can just set it and forget it! Do you have an idea for a template we don’t already have? Let us know – we value your input!

Did you know that you can save time and eliminate delays by connecting your Wise Agent account to your website? With our Lead Capture Form Tool, you can create custom contact forms for your website, allowing new leads to automatically add to your contact list. They can be added to the call list, a certain category, or even a drip email campaign. You can even set up an email and/or text message alert once a new lead has submitted their information.

To get the Lead Capture HTML form:
  1. Log into your Wise Agent account, mouse over “Marketing” at the top, and click on Capture Forms from the drop-down
  2. Next, click the “Add New” tab. Fill out the “Lead Capture Form” and click Save.
  3. Now you can edit the Fields or Design using the tabs at the top of the page. Make sure to Save each section you make changes to.
  4. Finally, click the Saved Forms tab at the top and there you will see the link to download. The HTML code will open up which can be copied and pasted to any page on your website.

Do you ever wonder who’s opened your emails? With Wise Agent’s MailChimp integration, that’s just one of the things you’re now able to do. This integration brings to you the great analytical tools included with a MailChimp account, right within your Wise Agent. You can still send bulk emails from Wise Agent without it, but here are some options that are now available should you choose to utilize this feature:

  • See who opened your emails
  • Track whether those recipients clicked any links within your email, or even forwarded your email to a friend
  • Automate unsubscribe requests and the removal of bad email addresses (email failures)

Setup is easy – just follow the steps below. You only have to complete the setup process once, and if you have any trouble, you can always reach out to our support team for help with the process.

First, in MailChimp:

  1. Set up a MailChimp account by going here
  2. Create a List. Click the “Lists” button at the top of the page, then “Create New List”, then follow the prompts.**NOTE: We recommend that you create one list, and then if you want to break up that list you can use Segments. More on Segments below**
  3. Make sure to confirm your “Senders Email” (MailChimp will send you an email with a link – just follow the prompts)
  4. Copy your API key here

Next, in Wise Agent:

  1. Mouse over Email and click on MailChimp. Paste your API key (from step #4 above) into the space provided and click Save.
  2. Click on Contacts to go to your Client List.
  3. You are now going to add your contacts to MailChimp.  You may choose a certain category if you wish. Click Select All to place checkmarks in front of each contacts’ name.
  4. From the Actions drop-down menu at the top of the page, select “Add to MailChimp”.
  5. Type in a “segment” name if desired (Note: a segment is like a category)
  6. Click Add to List and wait until you receive a notification that it has finished adding. This may take several moments.
  7. Repeat steps 3 – 6 for any additional groups, and that’s it!

You’re now ready to create your email “campaigns” and track your email analytics! This useful tool is completely free for a database of up to 2,000 email addresses, as long as you plan to send less than 12,000 emails a month. There are also paid versions for larger databases, check MailChimp’s pricing for details.

Announcing Rapportive and the Wise Agent Raplet

Do you use Gmail? If so, we have something special just for you.  We’ve just completed our integration with Rapportive, and we think you are going to love it!  Rapportive is a Gmail extension that replaces the ads to the right of each email with information about the sender, even their picture.  Plus, with our Wise Agent Raplet, you can add new contacts or save notes to current contacts in Wise Agent, directly from your inbox in Gmail.
