Text Alerts and Email RemindersNever miss another important appointment.  Did you know that you can set up reminders for your appointments?  You can have them go to your email address or text message your phone, or both!  To get started, click the Profile button.  Make sure that your email address is entered correctly.  If you want to set up text message alerts, you will want to enter your cell email as well.  Your cell email is your 10-digit cell phone number, the “@” symbol, followed by an extension that depends on your cell phone provider.  For example, if you have Verizon service, your cell email might be 4805551212@vtext.com.  Make sure to Save any changes you make to your Profile.

Now you’re ready to schedule your appointment and alert!  Here’s how:

1. Click on the day the event is scheduled for and fill in the time, etc. You can choose if it is recurring or not as well.
2. Look for the “Send an Alert” section and check the box in front of it.
3. You can then type over the “15” minutes and change it to whenever you want to be reminded (5 mins? 30 mins? 1 day? whenever)
4. Just below that, select your email or cell email to send it to.
5. Don’t forget that this based off your personal computer’s time! Check to make sure it is current before you set up to send.
6. Type the details of the appointment and hit Save 🙂
